Landscape Crew Member

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Help install landscape construction materials including:  plants, sod, wallstone, brick, treated timbers and railroad ties.
• Operate trucks, tractors, bobcats, roto-tillers, sod cutters, edgers, and other landscape equipment on the job site under the guidance of the crew supervisor
• Responsible for safety procedures and policies of Natural Plus Nursery.

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to drive manual shift trucks, CDL preferred
• Must be able to maintain good working relationships with co-workers
• Must be able to lift heavy items of over 100 lbs
• Must be willing to work with customers and clients in a positive and helpful manner

Sales Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle customer sales and customer-orientated problems as they arise
• Keep displays of all plant material and products neat and organized
• Assist in plant maintenance including watering, weeding, mowing, fertilization, etc.
• Assist with the tagging of all plant material in the nursery and keeping prices up to date on all items
• Assist in the potting of bare root plant material

Qualifications:

• Accurately work with mathematical figures
• Be knowledgeable about plant material and landscape related products
• Work well under diverse weather conditions
• Willing to work with customers, remembering that the customer is the most important part of our business

Landscape Crew Supervisor/ Designer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with homeowners as assigned to initiate a landscape plan and design.
• Prepare landscape plan/drawing per customer request
• Provide a positive working environment for all crew members and to provide and example for crew members to model.
• Complete the job within a given time and budget and accurately complete job sheets.
• See that all safety procedures are followed by crew members
• Supervise 1 to 5 landscape crew members and be responsible for how the crew members.
• Responsible for nursery trucks, equipment and tools
• Communicate with customers and clients.
• Have general knowledge of plant and landscape materials

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of field experience in the landscape industry (preferred)
• A degree in ornamental horticulture or related field from a two-year technical school or four-year college preferred , but not required
• Experience in landscaping design desirable
